PROGRAMA 224: NEIL YOUNG (1969-1972)

Seguimos con los especiales de Neil Young, tras el anterior en el que abarcamos sus orígenes (Squires, Mynah Birds y Buffalo Springfield) y su debut en solitario en 1969 seguido de "Everybody knows this is nowhere" junto a sus Crazy Horse. Pues bien, aquí seguimos hoy, y es que tras estos dos primeros álbumes en solitario, Neil Young fue reclutado por Crosby, Stills & Nash, obligándolos a rebautizarse en Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, con los que grabó el polémico "Dejavu" en 1970 y su posterior directo "4 Way Street" también con CSNY. Tras las insoportables tensiones entre ellos, Neil Young continuó en solitario, reforzado en fama tras su paso por CSNY, con los que firmó dos de sus grandes obras maestras, "After The Gold Rush", en 1970, y "Harvest", en 1972, su álbum más conocido, y el único con el que llegó al número uno, y que sería su antesala a una época bastante dura, como veremos en el futuro.
